Equitana Sydney 2011
We would like to thank everyone who helped make Equitana Sydney 2011 possible and who made our introduction to the Expo the positive experience it was. A huge thanks has to go to Sandi Simons who gave us the opportunity to supply the young horses for "TWOTH", Marketa for handling all the fine tuning and paper work and Annie for taking great care of the six young horses for their stay in Sydney.
We would also like to send a big thank you to Greg, Dan and David for giving Cascade, Katie and Cadet a wonderfull grounding and an excelent start to their working careers.
Thanks also go to our many friends and supporters who came by the stand for a chat :-)
More success for Coolidowns Phantom and Gemma over the weekend winning Reserve Champion Open Hack at Minto Show and Champion Open Hack at Castle Hill. I neglected to report that Phantom and Gemma won the 3yo Futurity at County of Cumberland ASH Branch show on the 16th of October.
Not bad for a three year old.

Coolidowns is proud to announce that we will be supplying the young horses for "the way of the horse" competition at this years Equitana to be held at Sydney Showground from the 10th until the 13th of November. We will have 6 of our unbroken 2 year olds along with one of our stallions. If you would like to meet us and view photos and footage of some of our horses please feel free to come to stand #7 in the breed village.

This is a photo of some of the 2 year olds that will be appearing in "The Way of The Horse" competition and will then be up for private sale.
We would like to send out a huge congratulations to Lauren Morley who has just completed a successful western run of shows with Coolidowns Senator and Coolidowns Firefly. A big thanks must go to Roger for taking the time off work to take Loz and to Debbie for letting them go.

Even after being evacuated at 2am as the result of a factory fire Cathie Sykes and Coolidowns Dove still managed to place 4th in the Preliminary Large Show Hunter Galloway and was selected in the top 8 and finishing 4th in the Large Show Hunter Galloway Final at the ACT Macquarie Bank Hack Championships. We couldn't be Happier for you Cathy and family.
